Dead By Daylight Killer Guide: The Spirit
A: Behaviour has a long history of porting games to every platform out there. We understand that all of these are unique and that our game must be modified to take advantage of the platform's streng
The Spirit's Power, Yamaoka's Haunting, grants her the ability to phase in and out of the spirit world. When this power is active, The Spirit leaves her physical husk, which continues to create a Terror Radius, and can travel around the trial completely invisible to survivors. The Spirit moves more more quickly than usual in the spirit world. All survivors are invisible to her, and she cannot see bloodstains. She can still see scratch marks to indicate a survivor nearby and can still hear any sounds survivors make. Survivors outside The Spirit's Terror Radius will hear a whooshing sound like a vacuum any time the Power is active. Unfortunately, those inside the Terror Radius will not hear such a sound. When the Power runs out of charge, The Spirit's physical husk will reappear wherever she moved to within the Grounds in the spirit wo
A: They both come with their own challenges. The process of porting to a new console is always complex, especially when you're looking to be there at launch. The final specs and software are often not final until it's time to ship and the process of submission is usually untested. We are lucky to have great relationships with both Microsoft and Sony and that allows us to work closely with them to make this operation as smooth as possi
This is not your typical zoomer doom humor either. I’ve seen the tweets and the fan art and the Reddit threads. This is not "please devour me and spare me the torments of this mortal coil." This is "I’m horny, please eat me!" I’d say it makes my jaw hit the floor, but that would probably turn you on. I don’t know, maybe it needs to be some kind of villainous monster for it to work. I’m still learning the ru
A: The topic of a sequel to Dead By Daylight Walkthrough by Daylight comes up regularly. Every time it does, we all reach the same decision, to put all our energy and attention on the game that currently has about a million people playing every single day. It is the reason why we decided to do such a big graphical update, to make this 5 year old game look better and shinier than e
While the last DLC chapter felt like a unique departure from the typical horror format, it seems that Behaviour Interactive seeks to go back to the well with a popular horror franchise. There is no shortage of killers or protagonists for the new Resident Evil -themed chapter to draw from. Dead by Daylight could release multiple Resident Evil __ chapters if it wanted to, and each would be a varied experience. However, the potential for a new killer and survivor from the Resident Evil universe isn't limitless, and Behaviour Interactive is well aware of how hard its fans can be to ple
I’ve noticed a trend in video games recently, and while it shocked me at first, I’m not entirely sure that I don’t like it. However, I definitely know that I don’t understand it. Why on earth do so many of you crave being eaten by video game characters? I ask not out of disgust nor to kinkshame, but out of genuine curiosity. Please, explain to me why so many of you enjoy it. Ple
With his superhuman strength, he would make a killer as daunting as any currently in the canon. Going off the first form in the remake, he even already has a weapon in with a giant lead pipe. This Killer could play further off the mutations explored with The Blight , and use Birkin's backstory to influence the pe
It should come as no surprise that Alcina Dimitrescu has a place on this list, with how she has captured the heart of the internet. The nine feet tall vampire woman has a thirst for blood, and gets her fix from a signature wine made out of the blood of virgin women. While the full extent of her powers is unknown, the art director let it slip that Dimitrescu is based on the Hachishakusama, which is a very tall women dressed in white from Japanese folklore. The Hachishakusama can teleport, and stalks her prey, usually children, before going in for the k
One thing Trickster and Lady Dimitrescu have in common - aside from fulfilling murder fantasies - is that they’re hot. Murder aside, they just are, and I have absolutely no problem understanding why people think that. It’s the killing and eating I’m not sure I get. But this is where my point that getting eaten has been happening for years comes in. Is it just hot when they kill you, but not hot when, I don’t know, Nemesis from Resident Evil or Fable’s Night Crawler does it? Would Lady D still have become the pop culture phenomenon she did had she been fat, or homely, or even just shorter? It does feel a bit odd to me that we’re seeing the mainstream sexualisation of murderous monsters in video games before we see it for characters of more diverse body types, if you ask me. Is it that they’re hot, and they murder, so therefore murder is hot? Or is it something deeper? I suppose I’ll never k
