The Pioneer, Ambassador and Lifetime Achievement awards will also be delivered during the ceremony, and their recipients will be announced "in the near future." The Audience Award, which will include all the finalists above, will open its voting in late Janu

No, because we knew that our partnership with PlayStation was going to continue from last year so we knew that one of the incentives was going to be that 30 day exclusive. So we had planned from the beginning and it's also one of the reasons why we made the decision to have more partners involved with it, because we just wanted to make sure it was rock-solid.

That philosophy not only extends from the game's design and multiplayer, but also deep into the themes and characters of Overwatch itself. The game's shining optimism and diverse character designs run deep throughout the experience. More than anything, Overwatch brims with character and charm - Blizzard somehow took a talking gorilla, a sassy time-bender, a shotgun-toting reaper ( who has made for a hilarious parody Twitter account ), and so many other weird, wonderful characters and made them all feel a part of this shared universe and established wo

If there’s one thing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered proves it’s how to remaster a game's visuals properly. Modern Warfare Remastered is the most extensive visual upgrade any remaster has ever received yet, being more in line with a remake than an actual remaster. Character models and textures have been completely redone, the lighting engine has been replaced, and the environments have been overhauled to show extra details. An empty street and field in the training mission is now littered with tanks, soldiers jogging, jets flying overhead, and even the addition of a grenade training playground. It’s a stunning overhaul, and Modern Warfare Remastered raises the bar for all future remasters.

Where I could see myself enjoying a 5-6 hour single-player campaign with a loose story of some sort, I've had far more enjoyment from seeing the world of Overwatch unfold so organically. In every match that I've played, I've discovered some new bit of the world I hadn't uncovered before, whether it's a poster hanging in the Hollywood map, or a piece of dialogue between characters that opens up key bits of information about their relationships and bonds. More than pretty much any other multiplayer game I've experienced (save for maybe Team Fortress 2 ), Overwatch 's world and characters are incredibly likable, compelling, and engaging even without a campaign to establish them all, and it's all the more reason why Blizzard's design have kept me coming back to the game throughout the y

More than any other game I can think of in the past few years like it, Overwatch is one of the most welcoming and inclusive competitive games I've ever been able to enjoy and play regularly. Compared to many other competitive gaming experiences that require players to sink dozens (or hundreds) of hours into the game to grasp its nuances and strategies, Overwatch truly embraces its ability to not only get players started with the core concepts easily, but how it allows players of all abilities and skill levels to contribute and play their part in the t

As a rail shooter with different strategies, countless enemies, thrilling bosses, and various styles of gameplay throughout its short campaign, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor _ is the pinnacle of the rail shooter genre. If you want to test your reaction time without the nauseating movements and frustrating surprise attacks of _Call of Duty , you should try this excellent game. You’re often restricted to dodging and attacking within the boundaries of the screen, forcing you to anticipate attacks and strategically move around the scr

It happened during the Olympics. It happened during Halloween. It happened during the Winter holidays, and you can be sure it will happen again. Every holiday season that sees cool new legendary skins, players complain about how little gold they get for recieving duplicates from loot boxes. It's a fair complaint when the coolest legendary skins are only available for a short time, and maybe you've received three of one you didn't want. And when the price of a seasonal legendary skin is 3000 gold, it can be a bit frustrating to only recieve 200 coins. Or worst-case-scenario for an impatient player, who splurges on the skin they wanted only to get it's duplicate in their next holiday box! It can take awhile to grind that kind of gold. Whether the Overwatch development team hears visit these guys complaints and addresses them or not, players can always take refuge in the fact that the Earth will make at least one more rotation around the sun, and whatever fancy seasonal holiday skin that eludes them will still be available next year. Well, maybe four years for the Olympics skins. O
