While Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 's release trailer gave fans a quick peek at the game, it also confirmed a handful of characters — 14 in total — that will feature. While the initial roster is fairly star-studded, there are a few contenders that are conspicuously missing. Even though fans should expect that the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise will likely have the most characters in the game, the inclusion of Sandy Cheeks, Patrick Star, and SpongeBob points to a willingness to include multiple characters from one franchise. As such, even though we currently only have Helga confirmed from the Hey Arnold! series, it's likely that fans can expect Arnold himself. In the Avatar universe, each style of bending was modeled after different martial arts. Danny Phantom is already confirmed for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl , which makes Timmy Turner from Fairly OddParents — a sister show to Danny Phantom — an obvious choice to include in the roster. Not only is Timmy Turner the protagonist of a super popular Nickelodeon show, but he also has limitless potential for a fighting game kit. For those unfamiliar, Timmy Turner has two "fairy godparents," Cosmo and Wanda, who grant his every wish. In the show, it's more often than not that the wishes go sideways and result in disastrous consequences. For this reason alone, Timmy Turner is a must-have for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl . He has the potential to have dozens of different forms, summons, and wild abilities, and developers could even imbue abilities with a degree of chance similar to Mr. Game & Watch's "Judge" abil


The one thing that can be said in Party Edition 's favor is that Oh My Godheads does feel more at home on Nintendo's handheld/console hybrid than any other system. The portable and casual skewing aspect of the Switch molds perfectly to Oh My Godheads ' simple party game vibe. Unfortunately a new system doesn't create a new game. Oh My Godheads: Party Edition is bizarre and amusing, especially with three friends, but it's still a rather shallow gaming experie


The longstanding popularity of the Super Smash Bros. series has produced numerous copycat games which sought to emulate Nintendo's success. Some have certainly been more successful than others, but there's now a new contender that has the potential to provide a truly unique fighting game experience. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is taking some classic characters from Nickelodeon's long history and pitting them against one another in a colorful and crazy fighting game that already looks like a promising Super Smash Bros. cl

To the left of the shadowed cover art is an image that looks strikingly familiar to Korra. The silhouette holds a flexed arm out with a clenched fist, leading back to the shadow of a head that seems to mirror Korra's early series hairstyle with three distinct ponytails. Just below the silhouette that resembles Korra is the shadow of an outstretched human hand. With the Avatar universe top of mind, it closely resembles the hand and sleeve of Aang. Aang is frequently seen with his hand outstretched, a pose matching the shadow on the cover


Of all the current roster omissions, Squidward might be the most glaringly obvious. Even as Patrick Star is getting a spin-off , Squidward might be the most recognizable character in the entire show next to SpongeBob himself, mostly due to his popularity in meme culture. Also, his character seems to have a fairly easy background to twist into a fighting game kit. He's constantly seen with either a paintbrush or a clarinet, and both could be fashioned into formidable weapons within Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl . Plus, like the famous fighting game character Goro, he has 6 limbs, which makes Squidward an excellent candidate for some interesting basic attacks and grappling mo


Avatar: The Last Airbender ran on Nickelodeon from 2005 - 2008, while The Legend of Korra aired from 2012 - 2014. The former follows Aang, the avatar who had been missing for 100 years. He must learn to master all four elements in order to bring the fire nation to heel and restore balance between the nations. The Legend of Korra is about Aang's successor, Korra, who has to work to bring unity on the physical and spirit realms alike. Both shows were met with critical and fan acclaim, and saw a resurgence in popularity when both Avatar series came to Netflix in 2
