The dreaded Eververse store is back and Bungie really wants you to know about it. Previously, the store was relegated to the Tower and completely skippable. That’s no longer the case as Bungie has slapped the storefront into the Director, a menu players need to frequently bring up.
Speak with Ana Bray on Mars. She will have tasks for the player to complete before she can leave. Complete her four quests: Signs of Life, Recycled Components, Signal Shielding, and Force Reboot. Turn in the quests to Ana, and she will reward the players with a Braytech Osprey Rocket Launcher. Now that all four planets are ready for evacuation, return to Zavala to collect the Exotic Traveler’s Chosen Sidearm. Now that the quest is completed, players should have picked up at least five different weapons that will contribute to their light levels and helped round out their arsenals.
Even though Destiny 2: Beyond Light has been delayed , Season of Arrivals is still here to stay, and players should try to get the most out of it before it’s gone and the level cap moves up again. Collect as much gear as possible and complete all of the quests to level up each character and strengthen them for the upcoming sea
Outside of the new story, locations, enemies and Gambit, most of Forsaken’s changes lie in its quality-of-life improvements. From the addition of in-game lore to random rolls for weapons and gear to an in-game accomplishment tracker, Bungie has done an excellent job bringing back popular features they nixed when jumping from destiny 2 Weapons to Destiny 2. The good news is that all players can enjoy these improvements whether or not they own Forsaken.
What shines are the two new locations players visit throughout the journey. The Tangled Shore presents as a lawless chunk of rocks held together by anchors. The area presents plenty of variety with Skorn, Fallen and Cabal vying for dominance. As a playground to wander about and complete bounties, the Tangled Shore provides more exciting encounters than the majority of Destiny 2’s worlds. More impressive is the Dreaming City, the ultimate end-game location built for Guardians looking for a real challenge. Filled with powerful enemies, bounties and activities, the Dreaming City aims to prepare players for the upcoming raid, The Last Wish.
Exodus: Preparation is only available during the Season of Arrivals. Players can obtain this quest from Commander Zavala. Mysterious pyramids have appeared on different planets, causing great concern. Players will need to help these citizens prepare for evacuation of the planets. Succession is all the more impressive when taking into account its perks. Reconstruction keeps the gun loaded to double its magazine size, and Recombination makes it so that getting kills with the game's various elements stacks a damage bonus up to 100%. This gun can also run with Focus Fury and Firing line, making it a great pick for sustained damage on Champions and minibosses. The gun is also incredibly easy to acquire in Onslaught , and can be target farmed at Zavala, as well as acquired from its original source, Deep Stone Crypt. Both options for this gun are great, especially for players who want a slower and more deliberate rifle than The Suprem
The draw of Quicksilver Storm is that it is a primary weapon that can periodically output the damage of a special weapon after achieving certain objectives. This puts it in spaces like Tarrabah, where it performs like a typical firearm most of the time, but allows for brief periods where it punches way above the belt of its weapon type. Quicksilver Storm does this via grenades that are charged and stored whenever its micro-missiles land on target. Gaining enough charges allows players to manually load and fire an explosive payload after holding the reload button and switching to an alternative fire mode. Not only does this do excellent single-target damage and assist in add-clear, but this gives players better control of their ammo economy as players can use the grenade launcher instead of their special and heavy weapons to save on a
After speaking with Asher Mir, players will need to complete a weekly bounty for him as well. After completing it and speaking with the Gensym Scribe, players will need to speak with Zavala at the Tower. The player will be able to earn a Militia’s Birthright grenade launcher from Zavala.

Everything you do in Destiny 2 earns progress towards the next tier, though the rewards don’t seem worth it. Asides from the occasional armor piece or weapon, the 100 tiers of rewards are mostly lackluster. Both Battle Passes contain too many modifiers, currencies, and other useless content meant to keep the grind going. Though earning tiers isn’t based off of time-played, progress in the Battle Passes still feels like a grind. As of publication, it’s not possible to buy tiers.
