Kojima makes an appearance in a game just as surreal as some of his own, Control . His likeness is not present, but Kojima voices the Japanese lines for Dr. Yoshimi Tokui, a researcher in the Bureau of Control's Oldest House. Kojima's Dr. Tokui narrates the player through a " guided imagery experience " with the help of a translator who, according to Polygon , is voiced by Kojima Productions' head of marketing, Aki Saito. The worthwhile and odd Control side quest gives players a lesson in love and environmentalism, all with a dash of grim humor about pige

Imagine a questline breaking in the middle of a mission, simply because a character lacked the right Attribute requirements? How about cars driven by key NPCs missing a turn, or a new objective not triggering when it's supposed to? This is just scratching the surface of a much bigger problem, but it seems like CD Projekt Red is burning the midnight oil to try and patch up as many missions as possible. That's wise if they want to sell more cop

The company has promised a ton of free DLC content designed to smooth things over with gamers, and hopefully it delivers in the same way that the aforementioned No Man's Sky did. That final scene of the game hints at big things still to come for the story, and that's more than enough to whet appetites for more dystopian Cyberpunk goodne

The facts are very simple - this is a PS4 game we’re being told not to play on the PS4. Scratch that, it’s a triple-A PS4 game with a huge hype cycle and massive marketing campaign that we’re being told not to play on PS4. You can still buy it, of course. I don’t know if the PS Store can detect the difference between a PS4 and a PS4 Pro, but putting out a tweet essentially saying "you can buy this, but don’t," is horrifically anti-consumer. There are definitely players who are going to buy this on their regular PS4s - PS5s are notoriously hard to get and for literally every other game, the standard PS4 works. I know, I had the base version of the console last gen and had zero issues with its performance aside from it running a little loud. These players will be buying it because if they want to play Cyberpunk 2077 missions|Https://cyberpunk2077pedia.com/ 2077, they have no other options, and they might not have even seen the tweet telling them not to. It’s reasonable for a player to assume that if a game is available to buy on the PS4, it will work on the PS4. We should be outraged that CDPR and Sony are selling these folk an unplayable experie

Power amongst gangs in Night City's districts doesn't change or shift, should a gang be heavily affected by a questline or decision made by players. In " The Pickup " quest, players have the option to free the trapped former Maelstrom leader, Brick. Once he's freed, Brick offers V a favor, but players never see that favor from repaid, and V’s relationship with Maelstrom doesn't change. Maelstrom will still attack the player in the streets, despite V saving them from being zeroed. On the other hand, siding with Militech and Meredith Stout by supposedly getting rid of Maelstrom won’t affect the gang’s status in Watson. No gang will try to claim the district as its own, and Maelstrom members will continue to roam the a

Renowned video game creator **Hideo Kojima ** has a level of name recognition not too common in game development. Most games are thought of as creations of the studio that worked on them, but more often than not, titles like Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding are distinctly products of Kojima - though certainly also products of his talented teams. He tends to hold a similar stature as a film director, which correlates to Kojima's ambition of creating movies at his studio, and also translates into a tendency to appear in his own works in cameo ro

Next up is by far the most 'professional' person on David's crew and the love of his life, Lucy AKA Lucyna Kushinada. Lucy is the netrunner of the crew and a fantastic one at that. Netrunners have to be judged on a different scale than solos or enforcers in Night City, as their 'battlefield' is different. And, at least in what was shown in Edgerunners, Lucy is an incredibly capable netrun

When things go south, he doesn't waste any time betraying V and looking out for himself when things get dicey. There's no denying that his presence in Night City was strong at one point, but Dexter's influence wasn't enough to save him. After Takemura forces the fixer to show him where V is, Hanako Arasaka's bodyguard shoots down the man in cold bl

Despite not even being seen in the events of Cyberpunk 2077 , Blackhand's influence can be felt in every part of the game. It ranges from the books he's penned, to a clever in-game news report that alludes to his presence in Japantown. It's easy to see why any Solo would aspire to reach the same level of notoriety as Morgan Blackhand, and why players who were invested in Night City's lore were quite fascinated by this charac

Since that time, the pathing system has gotten much better. The directional mini-map in the top-right of the screen is more informative and reliable. This directly affects the mission system in a positive way, making it a little bit easier to track down those rogue Delamain taxis without their quest lines seizing up in mid-p
