You play as an android that is the property of a massive, android-producing corporation called Kronos. In this cyberpunk future, Kronos is the be-all, end-all of android companies and is essentially above the law. Your job is to interrogate your fellow androids to determine whether or not they've become deviant, which means that they've begun to think a little too freely and may be a danger to themselves and others. To discover deviancy, you have to ask a series of questions. Sometimes you just need to have them recall memories or run diagnostic checks. Other times, you have to push them to expose emotions and opinions that conflict with their prime direct

It feels very hopeless to watch Kolgrim grow when you don't have an answer for him. With lower Adrenaline, he has 1 less turn to trigger, which means he doesn't necessarily require a direct answer to be outpoin

Outrage is pretty common in gaming, and it feels wrong to be encouraging it, especially around a game as toxic as Cyberpunk 2077. For the record, I don’t care for the game. While it would have been fascinating to see how the game itself and the discourse around it would have been different if it came out bug free, it still would have had its issues. Bugs or no, Cyberpunk 2077 is a game with a very binary perspective on gender that trades on a mostly superficial view of trans people , a horribly misogynistic view of women and sex workers , fridges one of its strongest female characters, and contained a (now patched out) racist m

New Lockdown aims at forcing the opponent to make uncomfortable decisions (like spending the leader ability in round 1) while still allowing for interactions. It opens multiple layers of depth, complimented by cards like Damien de la Tour or the new Anna Henrie

Hideo Kojima makes perhaps his strangest appearance in his most recent work, Death Stranding . The entire game revels in its own weirdness, but a nightmarish sequence has a Kojima-shaped BT coming out of the floor to grab protagonist Sam Bridges' ankles. The sequence doesn't always trigger, but if players have Bridges sit in a private room for long enough, a pool of tar might appear around his bare feet. Similar to how Death Stranding 's BTs attack the player when traveling through their territory, the tar morphs itself into the likeness of Kojima before Bridges jolts awake out of the nightm

The remake of the original Sim City was set to be one of the most revitalized versions of a series ever, and now, after so many updates, that is the case, but it wasn’t without one of the worst launches in history. Firstly, fans couldn’t play the game without having a network connection at all times, which led to many problems when there were network outa

With it's ability to completely remove a dimension of the game, Lockdown was a problematic ability. While it could serve as meta control like we saw against Viy after the 8.0 patch, it could also be abused more widely like in the previous meta, and would easily oppress off-meta fun decks, something players have complained about since way before it became a meta p

Point ceiling of Lyrian Scytheman is a bit too high for a 4 provisions (and for Uprising.). We are lowering the ceiling, while increasing floor of the card - number of potential points is limited by number of units in a row, but with less developed board, players will get an extra po

The facts are very simple - this is a PS4 game we’re being told not to play on the PS4. Scratch that, it’s a triple-A PS4 game with a huge hype cycle and massive marketing campaign that we’re being told not to play on PS4. You can still buy it, of course. I don’t know if the PS Store can detect the difference between a PS4 and a PS4 Pro, but putting out a tweet essentially saying "you can buy this, but don’t," is horrifically anti-consumer. There are definitely players who are going to buy this on their regular PS4s - PS5s are notoriously hard to get and for literally every other game, the standard PS4 works. I know, I had the base version of the console last gen and had zero issues with its performance aside from it running a little loud. These players will be buying it because if they want to play [https://cyberpunk2077pedia.com/ cyberpunk 2077 quickhacks|https://cyberpunk2077pedia.com/] 2077, they have no other options, and they might not have even seen the tweet telling them not to. It’s reasonable for a player to assume that if a game is available to buy on the PS4, it will work on the PS4. We should be outraged that CDPR and Sony are selling these folk an unplayable experie

Cameos in film are not uncommon. Alfred Hitchcock had a reputation for putting himself in the background of most of his movies, and Kojima himself has a cameo in Too Old To Die Young , a series directed by friend and colleague Nicholas Winding Refn, who in turn modeled for the role of Heartman in Death Stranding . Kojima's appearances in his own video games, however, tend to be less sub

CD Projekt Red was able to do something that many developers wish to achieve: make a card game within their game that's fun enough for people to invest hundreds of hours into. From the Witcher games, Gwent was born and is one of the biggest deck-building virtual card games out there. Today, March 8, Gwent received its 8.3 update .
